Dear Reader,
As I sit down to write this blog post, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and excitement for the new beginnings that are unfolding in my life. Finalizing my book and launching my new website has been a season of change, growth, and transformation for me, much like the arrival of spring after a long winter season. I am thrilled to share with you the journey that has led me to this moment and the heartfelt mission I have to help mothers fall in love with their future again. I want to help mothers wash away the fear that sometimes can be tied to Empty Nesting and instead, embrace this chapter with clarity, excitement, courage, and a deep sense of community.
Reflecting on the past two years, I realize now that many of the challenges and uncertainties I had to overcome were not roadblocks but rather stepping stones leading me to where I am today. Every moment of confusion and doubt was creating space for new and better opportunities to enter my life. It is in these moments of chaos and change that the seeds of new beginnings were planted, slowly unfolding, waiting to blossom in their own time. Adjusting to children leaving the nest, feeling a little lost, and not having my next chapter defined forced me to take a “soul level” inventory of my life and what I wanted for my future. I knew to my core I needed to get back in touch with who I was as an individual in order to create my next best chapter. And I knew I wasn’t alone. So I decided to write a book, create an online community, and share my experiences with you.
The Empty Nester Club is a sanctuary for women to help navigate and discover joy during the profound transition into Empty Nesting. I believe that true beauty lies in the connections we forge, the stories we have the courage to share, and the experiences that unite us as a community. You are encouraged to show up as your authentic self, define your next chapter, and dream big. This platform is my gift to you, a refuge of support, connection, and love. My team and I have poured our hearts and souls into creating a space where we can all come together, learn from each other, and navigate this new chapter of our lives with grace, strength, and a little lightheartedness. As my team and I prepare to launch my new website and finish up my book (due out September 2024), I am filled with hope and excitement not just for my future, but for yours as well. When your kids start to move out of the house, accept that letting them grow up and move on is not saying goodbye, it’s learning how to say Hello to yourself again.
